Coverage FAQ
Questions About Our Coverage Area
Do you cover all of Birmingham and the West Midlands?
Yes. Our engineers are based locally and cover Birmingham city centre and all surrounding boroughs — Edgbaston, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Erdington, Harborne, Selly Oak, and Dudley. We also cover neighbouring areas including Walsall, Sandwell, Wolverhampton, and Coventry.
How quickly can you reach my area?
We offer same-day availability across all of Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. For planned surveys, we can usually book you in within a few days. Our engineers travel directly to your property from a local base.
Is there an extra charge for areas outside Birmingham city centre?
No. Our pricing is the same across all of Birmingham and the West Midlands. There are no additional travel charges regardless of which area you are in.
Is Severn Trent Water responsible for my drains in Birmingham?
Severn Trent Water is responsible for public sewers — the shared pipes beneath the road. The private drains within your property boundary are your responsibility. Shared drainage serving multiple properties became Severn Trent's responsibility under the 2011 transfer of private sewers, provided it was built before July 2011.
